The government is pivotal in establishing an environment conducive to the growth and sustainability of the tourism industry. This study empirically examines the role of the Ubud government in supporting sustainable tourism. A qualitative approach was employed, incorporating triangulation in the data collection process. Techniques such as interviews, observations, field notes, document analysis, and a literature review were used, and the data was analysed using thematic analysis. The findings suggest that the local government has implemented a top-down management system for sustainable tourism, with its roles encompassing public infrastructure acquisitor, strategic collaborator, policy regulator, and security and safety maintenance.
Lidya Lestari Sitohang Wahono Putra Winulyo Mohammad Adib Arza Nabila Fitriani Syrli Martin Zulfah Zulfah Copyright (c) 2024 Lidya Sitohang, Wahono Putra Winulyo, Mohammad Adib, Arza Nabila Fitriani, Syrli Martin, Zulfah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-10-03 2024-10-03 23 2 1 13 10.52352/jpar.v23i2.1390 PUSH AND PULL FACTORS OF FOREIGN TOURISTS IN CHOOSING TIRTA EMPUL SPIRITUAL TOURISM ATTRACTION, GIANYAR REGENCY, BALI https://ejournal.ppb.ac.id/index.php/jpar/article/view/1543
This research was conducted to determine the push factors and pull factors of foreign tourists in choosing Tirta Empul Spiritual Tourism Attraction.
